PRIVACY POLICY

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what information Auto Blog Studio ("the app", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.

2. Data we collect

Auto Blog Studio is designed to be private by default. Most of your data never leaves your device:

- Local data.

Your articles, generated images, saved ideas, and settings are stored only in your browser (in your device's local storage, via the browser's IndexedDB). We do not have servers that store your articles.

- Content you create.

When you use the AI writing or image tools, the text you write and the prompts you submit are sent to the AI service you are using (see Section 4) solely to generate the requested content.

- Account data.

The app does not require an account and does not collect your name, email, or password. The only account-related data is the Google access token you grant for optional Blogger publishing (Section 5).

- API keys.

If you enter API keys (e.g. Pexels), they are stored only in your browser and are never sent anywhere except to that service when you use it.

3. How we use data

We use the data you provide only to run the features you request: generating articles and images, hosting images so they appear in your published posts, searching free stock photos, and publishing posts to your blog. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Third-party services

To provide certain features, the app connects to the following services. Each processes data only as needed to perform the action you request:

- AI text & image generation — provided through Perchance's AI services.

Prompts and content you submit for generation are processed by those services to produce the requested output.

- Image hosting — generated images may be uploaded to Perchance's file hosting service so they can appear in your published blog posts.

- Wikimedia Commons — used for free stock photo/video search.

Your search query is sent to Wikimedia to find results.

- Pexels (optional) — used only if you add your own API key, for stock photo/video search.

- Google Blogger — used only when you choose to connect and publish (see Section 5).

5. Google account access (Blogger publishing)

Publishing to Blogger is optional. If you connect your Google account using the standard Google OAuth flow:

- The app requests permission to manage your blog posts (the Blogger API).

This lets you publish, schedule, and manage posts on a blog you choose.

- We receive an access token from Google.

The token is stored only in your browser and is used solely to send posts to Blogger on your behalf.

- We never see or store your Google password.

- You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account settings (Security > Third-party access) or by disconnecting inside the app.

Publishing posts to Blogger makes that content public, subject to the Blogger Terms of Service and the visibility settings of the blog you publish to.

6. Data storage & retention

Your articles, images, ideas, and settings are stored locally in your browser. They stay on your device until you delete them or clear your browser data. Content you deliberately publish (for example to Blogger or as a hosted image) becomes public and may persist on those services according to their own policies.

7. Data deletion

You can delete all locally stored data at any time from the app's Settings > Danger zone > Delete all data, or by clearing your browser's site data. To stop the app's access to your Blogger account, disconnect in Settings or revoke access in your Google Account.

8. Cookies & analytics

The app itself does not set tracking cookies or run analytics. The hosting platform (Perchance) and third-party services may use their own cookies or logs in accordance with their policies.

9. Children's privacy

The app is a general-purpose writing tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
